About Me
Welcome to my website. I’m honored that you have visited, and look forward to inspiring you with some beautiful art & crafts.
As a short introduction, I’m Indu Nagda, a contemporary artist from India who have been in love with art and craft since childhood. Since I can remember, I have been intrigued by the creative world, which created within me a passion for drawing, painting, and creating art and crafts.
I’m also in love with nature! The natural world around me inspires so many of my artwork, with natural elements or things I see in nature often taking center stage in my art. The world we live in can be so harsh and cruel sometimes. My hope is to inspire people to be more kind and loving through my artwork, and live together in peace and harmony.
On my website, you’ll find some of the artwork and craft I’ve created over the years, as well as a shop where you’ll find a variety of goodies.
I use mostly acrylic oil for canvasses, while using pencil and chalk for sketches. When I’m not painting, teaching art, or creative crafts for you, I like to write poetry and contribute to my society through social work.
Nature and the world around me inspires my artwork. I love the natural world. There is so much beauty!
One other element you’ll notice about my art is emotion. I believe art and craft can help us as human beings give expression to how we are feeling. Whether we are sad, happy, angry, disappointing or in love, we can use art and craft to express how we feel and see the world around us.
I achieved my Bachelor of Arts & Education Degree, with a focus on Visual Arts, and have been teaching art & craft since then. I’m passionate about helping children and adults give expression to their creative soul and help them develop their skills.
